Long-time League of Legends host and personality Eefje “Sjokz” Depoortere will be the desk host for the upcoming BLAST Pro Series Sao Paulo tournament. This is the first time the LoL veteran will play host to a CS:GO event.
Sjokz was a Riot Games employee until November 2018, when she announced she’d be moving to a freelance position. While she continued to appear on the LEC desk, it was only a matter of time until Sjokz appeared on other productions — and other games.
BLAST Pro Series Sao Paulo comes as a great opportunity for Sjokz to make her entry into CS:GO. The pool of teams is small, but at the same time features some of the best the game has to offer, including Astralis, ENCE, FaZe, Team Liquid, MIBR and NiP.
Sjokz’s CS:GO stint is the second such CS:GO/LoL crossover this month. Last weekend, Alex “Machine” Richardson and Frankie Ward made appearance at the LEC as desk host and interviewer, respectively.
BLAST Pro Series Sao Paulo is coming on streams Mar. 22-23 with $230,000 on the line.
