Jacob Wolf of ESPN reported that Vitality has facilitated a transfer agreement for Afreeca Freecs jungler Lee “Mowgli” Jae-ha. Mowgli largely served as a substitute jungler for Afreeca behind Lee “Spirit” Da-yoon, but saw relevant playtime during the year. He played two games at this year’s World Championship, defeating Phong Vu Buffalo in the Group Stage and losing to Cloud9 in Quarterfinals.

This announcement comes after our report that Team Vitality’s jungler, Mateusz “Kikis” Szkudlarek, would be heading to new European team, Rogue, for 2019. Kikis was an important part of Vitality’s identity in the latter part of 2018 and it is no surprise that the team has already made a move for a similarly aggressive jungler.
