Kingzone DragonX lost player after player this offseason, with Han “Peanut” Wang-ho leaving for Gen.G, Lee “GorillA” Beom-hyun leaving for Misfits, and Kim “Khan” Dong-ha joining SK Telecom T1 this week. All at once, Kingzone has made its own splash with the acquisition of AD carry Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu, mid laner Heo “Pawn” Won-seok, and support Park “TusiN” Jong-ik. Deft and Pawn most recently played for KT Rolstser while TusiN served as Afreeca’s support the last two years.

Deft is reportedly the highest paid player on Kingzone and the highest paid AD carry in South Korea. He will headline the organization as its star, while Pawn attempts to comeback from a chronic back injury. TusiN has spent the last few years of his career laning with Ha “Kramer” Jong-hun, making Deft his first significant partner change since 2016.

The rest of the roster has yet to be announced, but substitutes Kim “Rascal” Kwang-hee and Moon “Cuzz” Woo-chan currently remain on the roster. Both players started at top and jungle respectively during the 2018 season.
