Today, JD Gaming added further prospects for their 2019 run, signing jungler Sung “Flawless” Yeon-jun and AD carry Ju “Bvoy” Yeong-hoon. Flawless has spent the last two years in the LoL Pro League, playing with IMay and Rogue Warriors. Bvoy has largely spent time with Young Miracles, a LoL Development League team owned by Liu “PDD” Mou.
These additions likely round out JD Gaming’s roster following the departures of AD carry Lee “LokeN” Dong-wook to TOP Sports Gaming and jungler Kim “Clid” Tae-min to SK Telecom T1. The two acquisitions come as a surprise following the signing of Vietnamese phenom Đỗ “Levi” Duy Khánh, as it makes for three foreign players on the roster. Levi and Flawless will likely compete for a starting spot on the team, as both players have a lot to prove.
AD carry and support Liang “RD” Teng-li has also left JD Gaming along with coach Yang “UDG” Shu-wei. Yoon “Homme” Sung-young remains on JD Gaming as their head coach. JDG was one of the best teams in the LoL Pro League last year and their current acquisitions still hold them near the top of competition for 2019.
