Today, Bilibili Gaming announced the acquisition of Afreeca Freecs mid laner Lee “Kuro” Seo-haeng. Kuro spent the 2018 season with the Afreeca Freecs, earning 2nd place in Spring and 3rd in Summer. Kuro attended the World Championship with the Afreeca Freecs, but the team was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Cloud9.

Since debuting with Incredible Miracle in 2013, Kuro has spent his entire career in LoL Champions Korea. He is most well-known as the starting mid laner for the explosive ROX Tigers lineup of 2015 and 2016. Kuro often receives community criticism, but is still heralded as one of the best mid laners in the world.
For BLG, this means that there are now four Korean players on the roster including Kang “ADD” Geon-mo, Lee “Chieftain” Jae-yub, and Yun “Road” Han-gil. Due to foreign player limitations, only two of these players will be able to start at the same time. At the current moment, Bilibili has no additional substitutes in the top lane or support position. This puts the team in a precarious position when it comes time to decide the starting roster.
Bilibili Gaming placed 3rd in 2018 LoL Pro League Spring, but failed to make playoffs in Summer. After losing key Korean mid laner Kang “Athena” Ha-woon to the free agent market, roster moves were in order. Assuming Kuro gets to play, he will bring an important voice to a middle-of-the-pack team.
