Today, the Houston Outlaws announced the acquisition of San Francisco Shock DPS, Dante “Danteh” Cruz. To complete the deal, the Shock acquire Korean main tank, Yoo “smurf” Myeong-hwan.

Danteh primarily played a flex DPS role for the Shock in Overwatch League Season One. His Tracer was serviceable, but his Sombra later on in the season distinguished him among OWL DPS players. Danteh’s playtime decreased following Jay “sinatraa” Won’s 18th birthday, but he still played a key role on the team.

On the Shock side of the trade, smurf played for the Outlaws Academy team, GG Esports Academy. At main tank, Smurf regularly had standout performances in Contenders. Prior to GGEA, smurf participated in the Overwatch Pacific Championship on Ardeont.
