The Epic (pun intended) #FortniteXAvengers cross-over event has done more teasing. After the initial confirmation on April 22 via an image to Twitter, the hype soared to all new heights only to be eclipsed today.

The above image showcases Captain America’s shield being wielded by a Fortnite character which was followed up by an image of Thor’s hammer in Fortnite form.

The latest image shows a character wielding the gauntlets from Iron Man’s suit.

This isn’t the first time Epic Games has teamed up with Marvel either as they previously collaborated for the 2018 release of Infinity War. In the previous team up, Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet were added to the game in the form of a limited tiem only mode.

This time it appears things will be a little more varied with several of Marvel’s heroes making an appearance in some form or another.

While the movie will certainly gain more hype than this cross-over event, this is yet again a testament to Epic Games’ ability to think outside the box and bring mainstream attention and media in the direction of their popular game.

Fans can expect “Whatever it takes” to be necessary starting tomorrow, April 25, 2019.
