The United States based rapper “Soulja Boy” has revealed plans to jump into the esports space with his own organization. The news was shared with TMZ sports and doesn’t end there.

Soulja boy plans to recruit player across several top-tier titles and in his own words says “We’re gonna be finding talent, hiring talent.”

According to the article, the rapper plans to compete in Fortnite, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and more. With a less than extensive knowledge of all esports and their respective talent pools, Soulja has had to seek outside help.

Who else would he reach out to other than a friend, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins. The 2018 streaming sensation and most watched streamer on Twitch has reportedly been helping Soulja with industry.



With the goal of competing with the likes of “Team Liquid and 100 Thieves” – the rap star is going to need all the help he can get. Team Liquid is backed byaXiomatic Gaming while 100 Thieves received the backing of Scooter Braun & Drake among others.

This isn’t Soulja’s first foray into gaming, however, as he previously announced a video game console of his own branding, “Soulja Game Consule.” The platform will hold more than 800 old school games according to the announcement.
