According to a report from the Associated Press, Robert Kraft has been offered a plea deal alongside 24 other men who have been charged with paying for illicit sex.
The New England Patriots and Boston Uprising owner was busted as part of a sting operation that was concluded in February. It was revealed by authorities that Mr. Kraft had been videotaped on two separate occasions committing the crime at a massage parlor in South Florida.
The plea deal would require all 25 men to confess to the court they would have been found guilty would the case have gone to trial after reviewing the evidence.
Even with their concession, they would each still have to pay $5,000 per count they were charged with alongside 100 hours of community service and attend a class focused on the dangers of prostitution according to AP. Kraft has been charged with two counts for a total of $10,000, which amounts to a very negligible sum of money for the billionaire.
The plea deal would, however, should it be accepted make it likely that the videos of Kraft would not be made public.
Currently there has been no move from the NFL or the Overwatch League in regards to the Patriots owner and the investigation.
