StarLadder and ImbaTV, the Chongqing Major organizers announced the talent line-up for the event coming our way in just 10 days.

Most of the English panel of the currently ongoing Bucharest Minor will be flying next week from Romania straight to China. Toby “TobiWan” Dawson, Kyle Freedman, Dominik “Lacoste” Stipić, Dominik “Black^” Reitmeier, along with the Bucharest Minor content creator Lawrence “Malystryx” Phillips and one of the two observers of the Bucharest Minor, namely Johan “Weppas” Westberg, they will all make the trip to the Chongqing Major.

However, the esports veteran and one of the most iconic Dota 2 tournaments host Paul “Redeye” Chaloner will not be a part of the Chongqing Major. StarLadder and ImbaTV took a risk and invited to the event a figure more known for his work done for World of Warcraft and Call of Duty.

Rich Campbell has been the official host and commentator for Major League Gaming (MLG) last year. In 2018 only Rich Campbell has hosted four MLG COD events, CWL Dallas Open, CWL Northern Arena Showdown, CWL New Orleans Open and CWL Atlanta Open. He also has a previous collaboration with StarLadder. Back in June 2017, he was present at the SL studios to commentate the Hearthstone SL i-League StarSeries Season 3: Finals. The Chongqing Major will mark his debut in the Dota 2 world and we are all excited to see how he will cope with all the action unfolding at a Valve sanctioned event.
