The Southeast Asian scene just got one team richer as TNC finalize the roster for their secondary team, TNC Tiger.

This year it will be last time when the organizations can bring more than one team to Valve’s The International and TNC take their chances with two squads fighting in the SEA qualifiers. One will start from the open brackets, hoping that they can join their sister team in the closed qualifiers.

TNC Tiger was teased by the organization back in March when all that was announced was that the team will be led in battle by TNC’s TI7 captain Theeban “1437” Siva. The new squad has already made its debut in the ProDoata Cup where they finished second after losing the grand finals 1-3 to Clutch Gamers.

Pro Dota cup was their first test and perhaps they wished to actually have won the online tournament and rightly so as their lineup is an interesting mix. The SEA pub star, the one who was the first to reach 9000 MMR playing exclusively on SEA servers, Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky is their mid-laner. In the offlane, the Tigers have one very experienced player, a SEA veteran, a former teammate of Mushi at Orange Esports, Team Malaysia and the beginnings of the Southeast Asian Fnatic squad, none other than Lee “kYxY” Kong.

With 1437 in the captain seat, TNC Tiger is more of an international squad but they will take their chance for a spot at TI8 via SEA qualifiers.

TNC Tiger roster from position 1 to 5:

– Trịnh “458” Văn Thọ
– Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky
– Lee “kYxY” Kong
– Kenny “Xepher” Deo
– Theeban “1437” Siva

TI8 open qualifiers will commence on the 14th of June followed by closed qualifiers held from June 18 to 25.
