The first DPC Major of the season, the Chengdu Major, is done and dusted. TNC Predator took the plaudits by defeating Vici Gaming 3-1 in the grand finals and became only the second SEA team after Mineski to win a Major. With that, they also took a step towards a direct invite to TI10.

So the Major is done and dusted and now comes the time everyone has been waiting for ever since TI9 ended: The Outlanders Update! In terms of patch numbers, that would be Dota 2 patch 7.23. Before the Major, one of the Dota 2 devs revealed it would be released after the Major, but did not mention a particular day. But now, we have an exact day and date!

Well, there it is. Tuesday, the 26th of November will be when patch 7.23 will be released. Earlier, Valve said that the date could change a bit, but considering the qualifiers for the next DPC Minor and Major start very soon, Valve will be planning on releasing it sooner rather than later.

It has been a long wait, but the new update is finally here (well, nearly). Snapfire and Void Spirit will be entering the Dota 2 world for the first time along with a lot of changes and the game will never be the same again. Hold your breath, wait for The Outlanders Update and keep watching VPEsports because we will be breaking down the new patch for you with a lot of detail.
