ESL One Hamburg 2019 is quickly shaping up to be a fantastic event with another big team directly invited to the event – the newly formed Team Liquid.
It has barely been a day since it was announced that the ex-Alliance squad would be playing this season of Dota 2 under the Team Liquid banner. After leaving the Alliance organization behind, the team went on to be called “Bridge Four” when they were originally confirmed for the upcoming Minor and Major qualifiers. It was only a day after this that the Liquid announcement would be confirmed and now the players have another fantastic event to look forward to at ESL One Hamburg 2019.
The new Liquid squad did not have the best time at The International 2019, with a small mistake costing them their tournament lives in the end. But that did not change the fact that they are a group of young, talented individuals who clearly want to continue fighting together. While it is a big change from the old, veteran Liquid squad, the new team should be able make their mark on the Dota 2 world once again. The full Team Liquid roster heading into ESL One Hamburg is:
- Michael ‘miCKe’ Vu
- Maximilian ‘qojva’ Bröcke
- Samuel ‘Boxi’ Svahn
- Tommy ‘Taiga’ Le
- Aydin ‘iNSaNiA’ Sarkohl
While we still have a few weeks until we head to the Barclaycard Arena in Germany for the event, we will be seeing this squad in action through the weekend at the Major qualifiers – which should give us a great indication of their performance post-TI.
