DreamLeague Season 12 is quickly approaching and as such, the final team that will be attending the event has been confirmed with Team Liquid joining the lineup.

It has been only a week since Team Liquid picked up the ex-Alliance roster, but the team are already making a name for themselves. The squad have already secured their place at ESL One Hamburg 2019 via a direct invite and with the recent Major qualifiers for the first event of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit season, they were able to take one of two European regional qualifier slots available too – knocking Ninjas in Pyjamas into the Minor qualifiers in doing so. Liquid have now also been confirmed for another event; the upcoming DreamLeague Season 12 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

DreamLeague Season 12 will feature 6 of the best teams from around the world, fighting for a share of a $250,000 prize pool. While the event may not be on the DPC, it will give the teams a chance to show off some strategies and playstyles before the Minors or Majors begin. While Alliance, Liquid and NiP have all recently battled against one another, we will now get to see if anything changes when they fight new teams from around the world.

The full team lineup for the event is:

  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • Team Liquid
  • Alliance
  • J.Storm
  • FlyToMoon
  • Demon Slayers

DreamLeague Season 12 runs from Friday October 18th through to Sunday October 20th, with best-of-three series all the way through until a best-of-five grand final. At this moment in time, it is unclear exactly what the format will be but it seems as though each team will play a single series on the opening day which will seed them into either the lower bracket or upper bracket before the fight the title continues. There is also currently no announcement of the broadcast talent, but we expect that this will all be confirmed soon as we have little over a week before the event gets underway.
