Singapore is in for a massive tournament later this year with two more huge teams confirmed for the ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational – Vici Gaming and Natus Vincere.
Direct invites are quickly being announced for the ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational as just last week both Evil Geniuses and Virtus.pro booked their places at the event, joining Team Secret and PSG.LG. Even without currently fielding full rosters, teams are excited to join in at this amazing tournament which will be one of the biggest Singapore has seen for Dota 2. Just a moment ago, ONE Esports confirmed the latest two teams to enter the fray – Na’Vi and Vici Gaming.
While they may not have had the greatest run at The International 2019, Na’Vi were very quick to show up on the radar of the post TI9 roster shuffle when they picked up the mighty Pavel ‘9pasha’ Khvastunov from VP and made them an extremely fearful roster. With VP also confirmed for the tournament, this could be a chance to see these two CIS giants battle each other. Also confirmed simultaneously is the Chinese team that dominated the latter half of the previous DPC season, VG. While their TI9 run was fairly strong, VG were still hit with major roster changes but that did not stop them from confirming their spot at this event.
With six teams now on board, we’re anxious to see which other amazing Dota 2 teams are confirmed for the event. The tournament itself only kicks off in December of 2019 but with a $500,000 prize pool and the chance to showcase some of the best Dota 2 in the world in Singapore, the ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational is quickly shaping up to be one of the biggest and best events to close out the year.
