One final elimination series remained for the day at OGA Dota PIT Season 2: Europe/CIS as OG and FlyToMoon fought for what would be a spot against Alliance in the lower bracket finals tomorrow.

OG had a small hiccup earlier in the day when they dropped a game to VP.Prodigy, but that did not really stop them from securing a solid 2-1 victory to eliminate their opponent. For FtM, their elimination series was far stronger as they destroyed Natus Vincere and move themselves forward into a crucial yet difficult task of taking down OG. Game one of the series proved just how tough things would be as Yeik ‘MidOne’ Nai Zheng Phantom Assassin dominated the 25-minute game and gave OG a series lead.

Game two of the series was an extremely intense one as the two teams threw everything that they could at one another for nearly a full hour. OG, with MidOne on a Sven this time around had complete control of the early and mid-game periods, racking up a huge net worth lead nearly 20,000 at one point too. However, thanks to Alik ‘V-Tune’ Vorobey’s Lifestealer, FtM begun to make a gigantic comeback – but that did not last. While they had looked great in fights, they suffered under the constant pressure from OG and in the end, the Dire side creeps ended their tournament.

FlyToMoon end the OGA Dota PIT Season 2: EU/CIS event in an extremely admirable fourth place, considering the tough opponents which they had already faced but more importantly, OG will now have to face Alliance in the lower bracket final tomorrow, with the winner getting a rematch against Nigma in the grand finals.
