The King is back and so are OG, who despite changing three players are exactly the same aggressive team that hits the timings perfectly and runs over their opponents, making Dota look too easy. However, this qualifiers round hasn’t pitted OG against Team Secret, both teams claiming a ticket to the LA Major via playoffs semifinals series.

While OG have crushed everyone with the two newly added heroes to the Captains Mode, Void Spirit and Snapfire, but they also dropped one game in the group stage, Team Secret ended their run with a clean 10-0 win rate. In today’s semifinal series OG fought against Aggressive Mode and in both games were denied the new shiny heroes, but that didn’t matter at all. Game one was secured with a Bloodseeker – Dark Seer deadly combo, while in game two OG read early in the draft Aggressive Mode’s desire to go with multiple summoning heroes and countered them with Earthshaker and Kunkka.

In the other semifinal, Team Secret have also made quick work of Ninjas in Pyjamas, courtesy of another strong performance from Lasse “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen in the safe lane.

NiP and Aggressive Mode will fight tomorrow, February 12 at 14:00 CET for the third and last ticket for the European region at the ESL One Los Angeles Major. The loser of that series will join Nigma, Alliance and Team Liquid in the Minor qualifiers battle.
