Just returned to Dota 2 after a one year hiatus, NiP already boasts two important victories. Following the successful qualification campaign for the Kuala Lumpur Major last month, the team claimed last night the GG.Bet Invitational championship title in a pretty one sided grand finals against Gambit Esports.
Ninjas in Pyjamas roster:
Marcus “Ace” Hoelgaard
Adrian “Fata” Trinks
Neta “33” Shapira
Martin “Saksa” Sazdov
Peter “PPD“ Dager
The online tournament featured eight teams, but just four made the cut to the playoffs, with NiP coming from Group A. All eyes were on them, Alliance and Gambit Esports, who have just recently signed the ferzee CIS team. The three squads have also qualified for the KL Major, which is the first Major of the season and GG.Bet Invitational was just a very good testing ground for those expected to fly to Malaysia next month. Alliance, who claimed last week the Shuffle Madness title, fell short at the hands of NiP and finished this event on the fourth place.
Are you for real? Not cool man. Just doing our best..

NiP went undefeated in the GG.Bet Invitational playoffs making a quick work of Gambit Esport in the finals to secure the 1st place prize of $22,500. PPD got away with two Draw Ranger drafts in the finals and NiP were able to close in less than an hour the entire best-of-three series.
