ESL One Mumbai 2019 was confirmed in January 2019 and is set to be the regions first ever Dota 2 event as many massive organizers have been working to bring gaming to the entire globe. The main event will take place over a 3-day period from April 19th through to 21st and will feature 12 of the best Dota 2 teams in the world. Seven of these teams will receive a direct invite, four will come through regional qualifiers and the final team will be a local squad from India, also moving through an India-only qualifier. While not on the Dota 2 Pro Circuit roster, ESL One events always draw in the attention of the entire community and with $300,000 on the line, teams will definitely be trying their hardest to secure a spot – if they’re not invited.
We are sure that more invites will be revealed in the coming days as the regional qualifiers kick off in little over 10 days. We will keep you updated on all the teams heading to the event as well as the qualifying squads.
