Those who can’t attend The International 2019 in person in Shanghai, China might find MoonduckTV’s initiative appealing. The NA based studio will run more of a viewing LAN party August 19th-25th at the Localhost Venue in Denver, Colorado.
The Jungle Jam event concept is that casters and analysts who haven’t been invited to TI9 will be present at the venue in Colorado to rebroadcast the previous day’s replays. The trick is that the Jungle Jam will take place each day from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM local time to accommodate the NA and European fans to more convenient hours. The talent list hasn’t been fully decided yet as Moonduck put up a survey for everyone to cast their votes on who they would like to see on the Jungle Jam broadcast.
Jungle Jam will start on the 19th of August, a day before the TI9 main event in China. Most probably, the first day in Colorado will feature a comprehensive recap of the four group stage days in China. The event will carry on with replays through the playoffs, up to the grand finals day, which will not be a part of the Jungle jam broadcast. Instead, on the 25th of August, the live coverage from Localhost Arena Denver will “roll into a live watch party for the grand finals.”
Those interested to attend MoonduckTV’s event have two tickets options: a full week pass for $45 or day passes which sell for $15. Regardless if you are going to attend live or not the Jungle Jam, you can vote for the talent line-up here and tune in on Moonduck’s twitch.tv channel to catch up with the games unfolding in Shanghai, China.
