Remember Mango Bay? How about Odium? Mango Bay and Odium were formed in the post TI8 shuffle, one was competing from Europe, the other from CIS, but both shared an unfortunate story of failure, both disbanded with a bit of drama attached and now the two captains of those teams unite to create something new.

Mango Bay was created by Ylli “garter” Ramadani and Pittner “bOne7” Armand, who gathered young talents from Europe to attack the new Dota Pro Circuit Season. However, after they missed the train for the Kuala Lumpur Major, failed to qualify for a few other events, including the DreamLeague Season 10 Minor, they decided to disband. Shortly after that, the team manager was caught up in an ugly drama as he attempted to sell the team spot in the Maincast’s Autumn Brawl online event. The players said later on that they had no knowledge of their former manager plans, and Garter declared on Twitter that his players even received less money from winning small online tournaments to pay this manager’s Paypal fees.

Mango Bay placed third in the DreamLeague Season 10 Minor European qualifiers and would have been eligible to replace Team Liquid when they announced their withdrawal from the event. However, the team was just disbanded when Liquid stepped out and so DreamLeague invited to Sweden Team Lithium, who placed fourth in the qualifiers.

Lil’s team Odium had quite the same trajectory with Mango Bay. Odium failed in both KL Major and DreamLeague Minor qualifiers, their players started to leave the team one by one, up to the point where Lil was back to square one with just himself left on the roster and a lot of flaming posts on the social media channels. Upon Odium’s disbandment Lil announced that he will focus on streaming until he finds a team to join, and it seems that he didn’t have to wait for too long. Garter kept his former carry from Mango Bay, brought together a couple of other youngsters and invited Lil to join the new project, which will compete under the Peach Bay tag.

Peach Bay roster from position 1 to 5:

– Filip “Fey” Musialski
 – Ylli “garter” Ramadani
 – Wilhelm Erik “Eskillz” Sundblad
– Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk
 – Sebastian “Solen” Kjær

Fey is a Polish player who back in 2016 was for a few months part of the Alternate aTTaX (later on signed by team Kinguin) roster. He bounced between a couple of teams, including Elements Pro gaming and Burden united before joining Mango Bay this fall. Eskillz is from Sweden and he is playing competitively since 2014, his most notable teams being Horde, EPG and most recently LeftOneTV, Niklas “Wagamama” Högström’s team. Solen is a Danish player trying to make his break out for about four years now, time in which he played for London Conspiracy, Team Coast and most recently Team Singularity. Hopefully all these rather obscure names will have a better venture alongside Garter and Lil, who bring to Peach Bay a huge amount of experience.
