Evil Geniuses announced their line-up a few days ago and for the first time in five years, Sumail ‘SumaiL’ Hassan’s name was absent for the roster. After playing five interations of The International championships with the North American outfit (TI5 to TI9), the mid player had finally parted with the organization that had brought him fame. The big question now was, where would he go? That question has been answered – to team up with his brother Yawar ‘YawaR’ Hassan!

There were a lot of rumours floating around about Sumail wanting to play with his brother, but it is finally official that the two will be playing together along with Quinn ‘CCnC’ Callahan , Arif ‘MSS’ Anwar and Avery ‘SVG’ Silverman. The team will be called ‘Quincy Crew’, and it seems like the manager of this team will be Jack ‘KBBQ’ Chen, who mentioned in the tweet that the situation involving the organization will be settled soon, which probably means they are close to signing on the dotted line after finalizing terms and conditions. The region has not been specified, but as all these players have plied their trade in NA for the last couple of seasons, this team will most probably be competing from NA.

Sumail wanting to play with his brother is something that has been floating around at the start of every season since TI5, but he was so well settled with Evil Geniuses, that he never ended up doing it. Looking at the announcement, it seems like Sumail might be moving to a position 1 role with CCnC playing mid and YawaR playing in the offlane. Both brothers will face a challenge playing in positions they haven’t played before in professional teams, but they are skilled enough to adjust to the roles. This is one team to look out for in the 2019-2020 DPC season.
