EPICENTER was not an amazing battle ground for many of the teams involved, Infamous being one of them, and yesterday Dominik ‘Black^’ Reitmeier confirmed this information.

Infamous went into EPICENTER hoping to gain some valuable Dota 2 Pro Circuit points, or at least make any showing at all. Sadly, for the South American organization who had recently completed their roster with Mikki ‘Hestejoe-Rotten’ Mørch Junget, they ended up in one of the toughest groups and really had no chance at progressing too far. Infamous met another extremely difficult opponent in the lower bracket elimination series in the form of Alliance and that was where their journey at EPICENTER came to an end. On the back of this result, Infamous seems to have completely disbanded their roster, even with The International 2019 regional qualifiers around the corner.

In a post made via his Twitter account, Black^, who was also a very recent addition to the squad, confirmed that they had disbanded and continued on to admit that it came as quite a shock to him. With TI9 regional qualifiers starting in just a few days, this leaves all five ex-members of Infamous in a very tough spot – especially if it means that they will not be attending TI9.

With all five players having left the organization it remains to be seen what they might do for qualifiers and we will bring you any and all information on this as soon as it becomes available.
