The last two months of the year announce to be quite interesting for the Dota 2 fans, especially for those following more intensely the CIS professional scene.

Apart from a super team in the making featuring the region prodigy carry player, Roman “Ramzes” Kushnarev, the CIS region will also have a brand new team led by Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev. NIP’s former captain and support player announced his new project at the beginning of the month, however since then, the roster suffered a slight change.

In a post made on the Russian social media platform, vk.com, SoNNeikO’s stack revealed the team tag and the logo that they will use and the updated roster, which now includes Rostislav “fn” Lozovoy.

Over the past several months, fn stood in for VP.Prodigy, however, the CIS veteran was never a full member of the team. His collaboration with the youth VP squad ended mid-September, when VP.Prodigy made roster changes and chose to fight in the OGA Dota PIT Season 3 with Danil “gpk” Skutin in the mid lane and lya “Lil” Ilyuk standing-in in the support lines.

Coming now to Live to Win as a free agent, fn will replace Egor “Ergon” Kozlo on the team and will take the mid lane position. The carry duties will be fulfilled by former Virtus.pro member Igor “iLTW” Filatov, while in the offlane Live to Win will play with Vasily “AfterLife” Shishkin.

Live to Win roster from position 1 to 5:

  • Igor “iLTW” Filatov
  • Rostislav “fn” Lozovoy
  • Vasily “AfterLife” Shishkin
  • Alexander “Immersion” Hmelevskoy
  • Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev

Live to Win announced their intention of joining the online competitions starting with “early November.” There are two tournaments on the horizon for Europe and CIS where fans could expect Live to Win to make their debut. Dota Summit 13 Europe and CIS division is set to start on the 31st of October and the second season of Omega League is also about to kick off sometime at the end of this month or early November.
