After having a rather great run through the recent OGA Dota PIT Season 2: EU/CIS event, FlyToMoon have announced the departure of ALOHADANCE from their roster shortly before their next tournament.
FlyToMoon have had some decent finishes at a few of the more recent events that they have been apart of; finishing second in the Parimatch League Season 3 and fourth at both the OGA Dota PIT S2 and BEYOND EPIC EU/CIS tournaments. While the roster has had these minor successes, they have often seen themselves swapping out their position four player – and today it has been confirmed that Ilya ‘ALOHADANCE’ Korobkin has left the squad.
Confirmed on their Twitter account, FTM announced that, after five months with the team, the player and organisation came to a mutual decision to part ways. This announcement comes as quite a surprise as FTM were one of the ten teams to be directly invited to the upcoming OMEGA League: Europe/CIS Immortal Division tournament – which kicks off with its group stage in just 10 days’ time.
At the time of writing, the team have yet to announce a new player or a stand-in for the event, with the full roster currently down to four players:
- Alik ‘V-Tune’ Vorobey
- Bogdan ‘Iceberg’ Vasilenko
- Victor ‘GeneRaL’ Nigrini
- Andrey ‘ALWAYSWANNAFLY’ Bondarenko
With such a short period left before OMEGA League kicks off, we are sure to see FTM confirm a new position four player or a stand-in in the next few days. We will keep you up to date on any information coming out from the teams and be checking to see if ALOHADANCE moves on to any of the other CIS rosters which are currently shuffling their players around.
