The tenth iteration of DOTA Summit, a fans’ favorite, will kick off next Thursday, on the 25th of July. Six teams will gather in the Beyond the Summit house, but this time around only one is also a TI attendee.
DOTA Summit events held just ahead of Valve’s annual The International were usually packed with teams looking for a final test before going to the most important tournament of the year. This year, however, The International will be held on Chinese soil, in Shanghai and with less than a month to go, most teams are probably looking to settle their last bootcamp in Asia. From the 16 teams attending TI9, only Alliance will be present next week in Los Angeles, California to be a part of DOTA Summit 10.
Beyond the Summit announced the final two teams to participate at their tenth edition of DOTA Summit as being the South American TI9 regional qualifiers runner up team paiN Gaming and the NA squad Beastcoast.
For Alliance, who are expected to fly out to The International 2019 next month, DOTA Summit 10 is the perfect opportunity to get a grip on the newly 7.22 patch, released last Sunday, right after the TI9 regional qualifiers were over. TI9 is about one month away and it’s very likely that 7.22e gameplay update to be the final one before the big battle for the 2019 Aegis of Champions.
DOTA Summit 10 will take place July 25-28 in the Beyond the Summit house on a yet to be announced tournament format so, stay tuned for further updates!
