Ilya “ALOHADANCE” Korobkin was benched and listed for transfer on the 2nd of November when HellRaisers announced that their decision was taken after the player refused to join the team for practice games in preparation for DOTA Summit Minor.
ALOHADANCE has just returned to competitive play in the post TI9 shuffle when HR proudly announced their team for the new season, but despite qualifying for the first Minor of the season, the tournament will not mark ALOHADANCE’s first DPC appearance.
“We regret to inform you that ALOHADANCE refused to practice with the team so close to such an important Minor for us, DOTA Summit 11. This put at risk not only our form, but HellRaisers’ participation in the tournament in general.
We consider this kind of attitude highly unprofessional and unacceptable for the HellRaisers tag, which is why we inform you that as of today ALOHADANCE is benched and transfer listed,” announced HR a couple of days back.
Benched with just five days before the Minor, ALOHADANCE posted on his VK page that the issue with the team is more complicated than HellRaisers have written in their official statement. He also mentioned that he is not willing to take “the dirty clothes to the public” for now, but that “when the time comes” he will give more details on the whole incident. He also assured his fans that he will continue to work “even harder.”
“I’m not going back to streaming,” ALOHADANCE posted on the same day he was removed from the active roster of HellRaisers. However, from 2nd to 4th of November, he has already streamed 27 hours. His last stream session started yesterday, November 3rd at 16:50 EET and concluded early morning on November 4, at 06:00 EET with one hour of CS:GO.
