Team Aster has finally reached home after a long and convoluted trip from Kyiv, Ukraine, where they competed at the beginning of the month and claimed the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor title. Unfortunately, four of their members got informed by the Chinese government officials that they’ve been on the same plane with a passenger who tested positive for COVID-19.
Pan “Fade” Yi, Ye “BoBoKa” Zhibiao, Lin “Xxs” Jing and Kee “ChYuan” Ng returned to China via Finland and according to a post made by Fade on Weibo, all four of them are now sheltered into a special quarantine center.
“GG, guys, we got ganked. Someone three rows off our seats on the plane that we took from Finland to China was diagnosed. We were about to be quarantined as close contacts, what a stroke of bad luck for us… Sccc took a flight from Germany and turned out to be fine. Sccc is so damn good!”
Later on, ChYuan posted on Twitter a few more details and explained that all four of them have already stayed in insolation at home right after they landed and therefore they will be quarantined in a designated center for just six more days, until March 29.
Team Aster are one of the eight teams directly invited to the main event of the CDA China DOTA2 Professional League. Their first series is scheduled for 1st of April, and hopefully, they will all be safe by then and able to leave the quarantine.
