Dendi still under navi contract

Danil “Dendi” Ishutin is still under Natus Vincere contract, organization’s CEO Yevhen Zolotarev. This means that the mid laner will only be a stand-in at Tigers and his future will depend on several factors, including Tigers’ future performance.

“We just loaned Dendi to play for them [Tigers],” Zolotarev said. “What happens next depends on Dendi and the qualifier results. Currently, he has an active contract with NaVi.”

Dendi’s move as Tigers’ fifth was announced mere hours ago as the final step to the team’s revamp. Earlier this month, Tigers also signed former Fnatic and Mineski captain Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung. Him and Dendi were to replace carries Lai “Ahjit” Jay Son and Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky, who departed from the team Jan. 19.

The open SEA qualifiers for the DreamLeague Major will start this Thursday, Jan. 24. Four open qualifier teams will advance to play in the closed qualifier, where Fnatic, TNC Predator, BOOM ID and Mineski are waiting. The top two teams from there will earn seeds to the Major.
