With the conclusion of the Chongqing Major Qualifiers last night, Valve updated Dota 2 with a 7.20d patch as well as a new treasure featuring 8 new sets for a host of heroes – many of whom were definitely seen dominating through the qualifiers.

After 7.20 released just a few weeks ago we’ve seen a few updates to balance out all the new features, items and hero changes that have taken place in Dota 2. 7.20d is more of the same, with lots of new nerfs and a few revisions to things such as Phase Boots. We have a full analysis up on the patch so be sure to check that out here.

The Treasure of the Azure Fervor adds in 8 new sets into the game; Anti-Mage, Troll Warlord, Lina, Lich, Bounty Hunter, Slardar, Faceless Void and Phantom Assassin are the heroes which feature in this treasure, as can be seen below.

The sets are as follows:

  • Anti Mage – Pledge of the Dragon’s Disciple
  • Bounty Hunter – Creed of the Outlaw Huntsman
  • Faceless Void – The Corruption of Nezzureem
  • Lich – Ascendance of the Rime Lord
  • Luna – Redemption of the Raidforged Rider
  • Phantom Assassin – Cruel Reprisal
  • Slardar – Bestowments of the Centurion Vanguard
  • Troll Warlord – Plunder of the Savage Monster

The Troll Warlord set is a ‘rare’ while the Luna set is considered ‘very rare’. All the sets are now available in game through purchase of the Treasure of the Azure Fervor chest.

There’s a lot of Dota 2 action in the coming days with the Bucharest Minor Qualifiers kicking off in each region, so we will definitely get to see some action on the latest 7.20 patch with the changes to everything.
