Mark the dates: July 27-28! That’s when everyone will be able to compete in the open qualifiers for WePlay! Esports’ first Dota Underlords tournament. No one will get a shortcut to the $15,000 main event. Pros, streamers and casual players will all have to go through open qualifiers.
WePlay! Esports open qualifiers details
Open qualifiers will be held on two region time zones, Europe and North America and will unfold on the weekend ahead of the main event, July 27-28. Each qualifier round consists of three games where the players will score points based on their final standing in each game.
- Winner: 10 points
- 2nd place: 7 points
- 3rd place: 6 points
- 4th place: 5 points
- 5th place: 4 points
- 6th place: 3 points
- 7th place: 2 points
- 8th place: 1 point
At the end of the three games, top four players will advance to the next round. The process will repeat until each region finds its top eight players. The 16 participants (8 from Europe and 8 from North America) will advance to the main event which will take place August 1-4.
The lion’s share of $15,000 will be split among the top four players in the main event as follows:
- 1st place: $8,000
- 2nd place: $4,000
- 3rd place: $2,000
- 4th place: $1,000
