Since adding Eimantas “pounh” Lazickas and Ali “hAdji” Haïnouss, Imperial kept a good level and started to slowly progress in the hierarchy. The team is now respected and seen as a solid tier 2 / 3 team.

They recently did a good showing at DreamHack Montréal where they finished top 3 / 4 after losing to ENCE in semi finals is a really close game. Then, they lost in the last game of the Swiss system in Kiev for the StarSeries i-League S6, finishing 9/11th.

According to our information, they have decided to change two players to focus on a more stable project around an experienced in-game leader.

The Swedish leader Markus “pronax” Wallsten will join the team and turn to the European scene after trying several different Swedish projects without success. The three-time Major winner will obviously add an incredible amount of experience in a team with a lot of potential.

Imperial has also decided to buy the 20-year-old AWPer from HAVU, Otto “ottoNd” Sihvo. The Finnish player is seen as one of the best in his country and will leave the local scene to try to step up to show his talent with the international mix team.

The two players that are released are the Lithuanian awper Žygimantas “nukkye” Chmieliauskas and the latest addition Eimantas “pounh” Lazickas.

The Imperial will be:

Nemanja “nexa” Isaković
Rokas “EspiranTo” Milasauskas
Ali “hAdji” Haïnouss
Otto “ottoNd” Sihvo
Markus “pronax” Wallsten

Neil “NeiL_M” Murphy (coach)
