Richard “Xizt” Landström is on the market as fnatic have revealed the player’s departure from the organization with immediate effect.

“It’s time for me to move on. Playing in Fnatic again was an honour and I would like thank the management, players and everyone in Fnatic,” Xizt said as part of the tweet making the announcement.

Xizt had been with fnatic since May 2018 this time, having previously played under the organization in 2010 and 2012. He’s been on the bench for the last four months, however, as fnatic brought in Maikil “Golden” Selim on loan from Cloud9 to take over his role as in-game leader.

The in-game leader has been tied to a move to the rumoured Dignitas roster that would see him reunited with his former Ninjas in Pyjamas teammates Adam “friberg” Friberg, and Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg, and Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund.

fnatic continues into 2020 with their first event coming at IEM Katowice, as the organization was not included in the upcoming BLAST Premier.
