A mix of Ukrainian and Russian players are up for transfer as Vega Squadron announces they’ve placed their entire roster on the list.

The moves comes as Vega Squadron unveil their decision to take a “pause” from competitive CS:GO as was revealed on their Twitter account. The current lineup had only been together for eight months, having been formed in April, 2019 when Denis “seized” Kostin, Alexander “scoobyxie” Marynych and Dmitriy “Dima” Bandurka made their debut with the squad.

Things didn’t go as planned, however, with the roster of known talents failing to qualify for the StarLadder Major via the Minor system. This is the first time Vega Squadron had failed to make the Major since PGL Major Krakow in 2017.

It is currently unknown if there are current plans to return to CS:GO or when that may be.

Players available for transfer from Vega Squadron:

-Igor “crush” Shevchenko
-Dmitriy “jR” Chervak
-Alexander “scoobyxie” Marynych
-Denis “seized” Kostin
-Dmitriy “Dima” Bandurka

-Artem “Fierce” Ivanov (coach)
-Alexander “Lk” Lemeshev (manager)

The players could have opportunities in the near future as the StarLadder Major is soon to get underway and the post-event roster shuffles will certainly leave some holes to be filled.

Vega Squadron continues to compete in esports though and fields rosters n Dota 2, PUBG, FIFA, and League of Legends.
