Looks like the home of the boys may be changing. The Renegades CS:GO roster may be parting ways with their long-time organization as their contracts near expiration according to a report from Dexerto.
Renegades have represented Australian Counter-Strike since they picked up the Vox Eminor roster in 2015. Aaron “AZR” Ward and Justin “jks” Savage are the only two members remaining from that lineup.
It was also reported that should the roster come to terms with another organization, Renegades will potentially depart the CS:GO scene for good.
AZR and company made it to the semifinals of the recently concluded StarLadder Major in Berlin where they were knocked out by AVANGAR. A semifinals appearance at the Major is a big jump from where they found themselves over the last several months.
The team which showed spark at the IEM Katowice Major to kick off the year fell into visa troubles that led to a steep decline culminating in a last place finish at ESL One Cologne and a rough showing at IEM Chicago before making a statement in Berlin.
The roster looks to be on an upswing and also holds value in its place among some of the tier one leagues in the world including the ESL Pro League.
