The news that OG was looking to sign a Counter-Strike team led by Nathan “NBK” Schmitt and Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen has hit a roadblock.

According to a report from Dexerto, OG has been unable to come to terms with Vitality and ENCE for the transfer of the two players mentioned above.

The transfer fee is being contended as a source told Dexerto that “OG have offered less than half of the amounts listed” within the players’ contracts. This has of course led to a delay in the completion of these deals which has left the two players on the bench of their respective organizations.

It is also noted that OG have hinted at a lowering of the players’ salary should the offer not be accepted by ENCE and Vitality in order to make up the money.

Formed in 2015, OG is best known for fielding the back-to-back Dota 2 The International champions. The original report claims that the organization plans to use the same scheme that has brought them their success in Dota 2 to their Counter-Strike team.

This move comes during a time in which many organizations have been battling for a piece of the Counter-Strike pie. 100 Thieves and Dignitas have openly revealed plans to build a top tier team while Misfits are scouting their options and Complexity is willing to put up lots of dollar signs to fill their roster.

Expected OG CS:GO roster:

-Nathan “NBK” Schmitt
-Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen
-Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen
-Valdemar “valde” Bjørn Vangså
-Issa “ISSAA” Murad
