Following Grayhounds exit from the StarLadder Major in Berlin, Neil “NeiL_M” Murphy has parted ways with the organization.

NeiL_M had only been with the team since April, 2019 when he was brought on following a two-week trial. The Irishman helped Grayhound to reach the top 11 at the StarLadder Major after pushing through to the New Challengers Stage. The team achieved their highest ranking to date at #17 during his time with the team.

Breaking the news via Twitter, NeiL_M provided little detail as to what his future is in the scene although he’s certainly raised his stock as a coach given the teams progress during his tenure.

This move follows the news that Erdenetsogt “erkaSt” Gantulga’s last event with the team was the Major. The organization revealed that they were unable to acquire an Australian visa for the player who hails from Mongolia. erkaSt had been a member of Grayhound since June of 2017.

With these changes, there’s a couple gaps to fill for the Australian organization as they look to fill out their CS:GO division. With the Major nearing its conclusion, discussions are certainly starting to take place.

Current Grayhound CS:GO team:

-Ollie “DickStacy” Tierney
-Christopher “dexter” Nong
-Liam “malta” Schembri
-Simon “Sico” Williams
