ESL has revealed the latest invite to the cathedral of Counter-Strike. ESL One Cologne will see Natus Vincere battle it out as the first invited team to the event. A total of 12 teams will be in attendance at the prestigious event in Germany.
Last year Na’Vi went up against the home town heroes BIG in the finals where they would walk away victorious with a 3-1 score.
The event is scheduled to run from July 2 with the playoffs kicking off in the LANXESS Arena starting on July 5 and the finals taking place on July 7.

$300,000 will be up for grabs and Na’Vi will certainly be looking to make the tournament a home of theirs but the new BIG lineup may get the opportunity to cut that dream short.
An established event such as this will certainly draw in some of the best teams from around the world and I think it’s safe to say we can expect the likes of Astralis, Team Liquid, FaZe, and more to make the trip if invited.
Na’Vi’s last appearance was at BLAST Pro Series Lisbon where they took down Cloud9 and FaZe before being decimated by the previous MIBR lineup and falling 1-2 against the dominant Astralis.
