Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert will once again stand in for compLexity’s CS:GO team. The veteran will sub in for Ricky “Rickeh” Mulholland for the upcoming ESL Pro League, coL’s Jason Lake confirmed in a recent podcast.
“Rick is stuck in Canada because he’s having visa problems. […] Getting visas is difficult right now and we’re not the only ones in esports that are suffering.”
This will be the second time n0thing will run in to help compLexity after filling the fifth spot for the team during the IEM Katowice Major, left vacant by the release of Brad “ANDROID” Foor and Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker. Despite the disadvantageous situation, coL nevertheless put up a good fight in the New Legends Stage, beating NRG Esports 2-0 and almost eliminating FaZe Clan from the tournament, losing a narrow three-game series.
coL will share an EPL group with Team Liquid, Ghost Gaming and Lazarus Esports. Although a first place finish and direct qualification for the EPL finals is unlikely, given Team Liquid’s current top form, coL should at least be looking towards making it to Round 2 and from there — perhaps the finals.
EPL starts Apr. 12 with Group A. compLexity’s Group B will take place Apr. 16-18.
