Team Liquid have officially signed Michael “Grim” Wince the organization has announced.

Grim had been of Triumph since February and been a strong performer for the squad, earning a lot of praise for his showings at cs_summit 6 and the DreamHack Open Summer North America qualifier. Much of this praise comes from his ridiculous 109 ADR and 120 kill best-of-three series against MIBR.

This performance was listed as in the official post from Liquid which stated: “Not many people can claim they’ve dropped a 60 bomb during a game of CS:GO, but only a few short weeks ago that’s exactly what Team Liquid’s newest member did (64 to be precise). We’re very happy to introduce you to Grim — one of the most talented riflers in North America.”

Grim is taking the place of the recently departed Nick “nitr0” Cannella. Having spent a large portion of his professional career under the Liquid banner, the future of nitr0 is currently unknown. The 24-year-old had filled many roles for the team over his five year tenure including in-game leader, AWPer, and entry.
