With two fresh faces from the play-in making grand final appearances, the first three teams to make it the BLAST Pro Series Global Final have been secured.

Liquid, Astralis, and FaZe have earned their spot in the event which was recently revealed to be taking place in Bahrain, which by our definition is a bit unusual.

The BLAST Pro Series Global Final is set to run from December 13th to 14th and feature a $500,000 prize purse. The team that walks away in first will earn the lion’s share of that purse at $350,000. In addition to the money, the winner will be crowned the first ever BLAST Pro Series season champion.

The top four teams at the end of the season get a seat at the table in Bahrain and that means only one spot remains following Liquid, Astralis, and FaZe’s qualification. Another important detail to note is that teams that have participated outside of the original seven can not qualify. This means neither forZe and AVANGAR will earn any points for their grand finals appearance.

Unless Natus Vincere or Cloud9 pull out a first place finish in the final stop of the season in Copenhagen, Ninjas in Pyjamas will secure the fourth and final spot barring a last place finish for the Swedish side.

BLAST Pro Series season leader board:

4.  NiP – 16 points
