Kenneth “koosta” Suen has revealed he has joined the free agent market. In a tweet posted late last night the Ghost Gaming player simply put “free agent.”
This was met with lots of questioning and fans seeking clarification as to what this meant. He responded to Pujan “FNS” Mehta explaining that he is “no longer legally bound to a contract.”
dust2.us has since confirmed that it is not only koosta who has now joined the ranks of free agency. Joshua “steel” Nissan and James “JamezIRL” Macaulay have reportedly stated they are also without contracts.
“Our contracts are done as of today and there just hasn’t been a definitive answer as to what’s going to happen. Put simply, since I haven’t been offered a new contract, I’m technically a free agent. Not that we’ve been let go—yet,” JamezIRL told dust2.
With an issue like this it is typically assumed that Ghost is currently exploring other options before commiting to the previous iteration of the roster. With Damian “daps” Steele being benched just yesterday by NRG and steel’s contract ending, this is an opportunity for the organization to change leadership should they decide to.
Although this doesn’t mean the roster won’t continue and contracts won’t be offered, as it stands only the three following players are confirmed for the organization.
- Matthew “WARDELL” Yu
- Jason “neptune” Tran
- Ryan “freakazoid” Abadir
