It’s time for another comeback according to Josh “jdm64” Marzano. The North American CS:GO player has been inactive since being removed from the active lineup of Envy and becoming a free agent at the end of June.
He had been with Envy since September, 2018 as the organization made several roster moves in an attempt to get a winning team. This eventually saw jdm64 taken out of the picture where he has remained.
In a series of tweets, the 29-year-old expressed his desire to “play at a high level again” and says his goal is to “be on HLTV top 20 players list” in 2020.
He’s open to several roles and states “I’m looking to IGL and be whatever my next team needs me to be whether that being an IGL/hybrid or their awper.“
When reached out to by HLTV regarding just how AWP dependent he’s been in the past, the former Envy player said he’d been using “FPL these last few months to really develop and improve on my rifling skills,” as he’s been doing rifle only.
In terms of just how dependent he’d been in the past, jdm64 was leaps and bounds above the likes of storied AWPers Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács and Kenny “kennyS” Schrub at 74% of his kills coming from the AWP with his p250 coming in runner-up as his secondary when wielding the AWP.
