Cloud9 officially has five, well, at least for the ELEAGUE Premier which kicks off in just a couple days.
The rumors have come to fruition as Maikil “Golden” Selim has been announced as the in-game leader for the team in Atlanta alongside Martin “STYKO” Styk who stood-in during the teams time in Germany at ESL One Cologne where they made a group stage exit.
We are pleased to announce that @STYKOcsgo will remain on the team and @goldennCSGO joins us as our 5th player! Both players will be Stand-Ins for #C9CSGO at the @ELEAGUETV Premier 2018. #LETSGOC9 pic.twitter.com/TfXrQH8b5g

Both players will be serving as stand-ins for the event and the future is still uncertain for the boys in blue after the departure of Jake “stewie2k” Yip and Tarik “tarik” Celik to Made in Brazil (MiBR) has left the roster with just three.
Golden was last seen in action under the fnatic banner while STYKO was moved from mousesports to make room for Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski. The ex-fnatic IGL has shown his ability to lead, but the firepower and roles left in Cloud9 certainly isn’t at the level of fnatic which will make things more difficult for the North American trio and their new friends.
