Cloud9’s roster struggles are ready to stop yet it seems. Two of Cloud9’s players are currently in talks with Gen.G according to a report from DBLTAP.

Damien “daps” Steele and Timothy “autimatic” Ta are reportedly the only two Cloud9 players confirmed in discussions with the organization. Gen.G is also targeting Georgi “SHiPZ” Grigorov from CR4ZY the report states.

This would be Gen.G’s first foray into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. This would come after months of organizations such as Dignitas, Misfits, 100 Thieves, and more showing interest in getting into the industry. 100 Thieves recently made the plummet by signing the Renegades roster.

At this time it is not known who the remaining two players would be in a Gen.G lineup should the aforementioned three join.

Cloud9 has been in a seemingly constant state of duress since roster troubles began to plague them following their ELEAGUE Boston Major victory. Even with a nearly complete overhaul in July, things haven’t turned out as well as hoped.

The North American organization recently replaced Tyson “TenZ” Ngo with Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik after there was a clash of style which saw the young talent the odd man out. Subroza most recently played on Swole Patrol and revealed his departure from the squad just last week after the team had a poor showing at the ESL Pro League Season 10 Group A in the Americas.

Just yesterday it was revealed that Cloud9 would pull out of the upcoming DreamHack Open Atlanta event which certainly fans the flames of the report.
