GamerLegion have filled the final slot on their roster with Niclas “PlesseN” Plessen from Japaleno. The organization revealed their plans to move to a full Swedish lineup upon the benching of Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom and Kevin “HS” Tarn at the end of September.
The 21-year-old will be joining a familiar face having played alongside Dennis “dennis” Edman during his time standing in for fnatic in place of Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer during the veterans wrist injury back in 2016.
Following his time as a stand-in, PlesseN made appearances on several lineups including the fnatic academy team, Red Reserve, Chaos, and Japaleno. He’s been playing as a stand-in for GamerLegion during recent online events as well which has certainly played a role in this move.
PlesseN will make his first appearance with the new lineup as an official member in the WePlay! Forge of Masters Season 2 where they’ll take on Copenhagen Flames at 09:00 today.
The first replacement came in the form of Alfred “RuStY” Karlsson who had played with the team on numerous occasions previously with the decision being made after “weeks of internal evaluation” according to GamerLegion.
