compLexity Gaming has made roster moves in the hopes of finding a stable roster ahead of the new years roster locks. Rifler Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker and Ron “Rambo” Kim, the teams coach have both seen themselves moving away from the team and active lineup. yay has been moved to the inactive roster and is available for trade and contract sales according to Jason Lake, founder of compLexity Gaming. Rambo’s contract with the team has not been renewed heading into 2019 and therefore the Counter-Strike 1.6 Legend will be moving on.

The teams miracle run at the FACEIT Major in London put the teams expectations at an all-time high and unfortunately for the organization, the team has been unable to live up to it. Failure to come out on top of qualifiers or cement itself as a top 3 team in North America has led to a need for change.

“Right around the holidays is probably the worst possible time to have to make these decisions and to bring this news to people but our hand is kind of forced because of the roster lock for the Major on January 1st. So if we waited until after the new year, or until December 30th or whatever, they wouldn’t have the chance to find a new organization,” Jason Lake said in reference to the timing of the decision.

As mentioned, compLexity will have to find their fifth by January 1st and therefore fans can expect an announcement as to who will be attending the Major with the team very soon.
