Former Counter-Strike professional player and massively popular Twitch streamer Michael “shroud” Grzesiek has fired off his first tactical nuke in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
During the Modern Warfare beta which opened up on September 19, shroud was in a game of Ground War when he gave it his all for a nuke.
Ground War is a 32 vs 32 match featuring massive maps, vehicles, and more in a very Battlefield style scenario. It is definitely one of the easiest ways to farm up a nuke given the sheer number of players in the lobby.
When a nuke goes off it ends the game in favor of the team that used it and can only be earned by a player who has accumulated 30 unanswered kills as the kill streak is reset if the player dies.
In the clip from his live broadcast, shroud hunkers down in a building on Karst River Quarry with his M4A1 and guns down opponent after opponent on his way to earning his first nuke.
As he takes down his final two opponents to hit 30 kills in a row, shroud shouts “GG” before calling in the tactical nuke.
Earning the nuke did require some not typical shroud gameplay through as he himself admitted when he said “I was trying to hard right there, I was camping up a storm.”
The beta closes up shop today but shroud and many others will certainly be back during the games official release with everyone aiming to drop their first nuke.
