Formed only a week ago with the aim set on the BTS Pro Series Season 3: Southeast Asia, Among Us are crushing the competition going 10-0 at the end of the first week of group stage matches.

Among Us was put together immediately after Fnatic decided to part ways with their captain, Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong, and features former players of both Fnatic and the disbanded Geek Fam. Although the team is filled with some of the brightest talents in the region, it runs with no sponsor support, being more of a project where the members want to “play for fun” as Carlo “Kuku” Palad mentioned upon the line-up reveal made on September 10.

At the end of the first week of the Among US existence, the team stands on a perfect 10-0 game score in the BTS Pro Series: SEA group stage, on the back of clean 2-0 victories over TNC Predator, 496 Gaming, Execration, Motivate.Trust Gaming, and the newly formed 032 with Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross in the captain role.

However, they are on the second spot in the group thus far, as TNC had played an extra series, which puts them ahead with 9-3 overall game score. At the opposite pole sits Fnatic, last in the group after a disastrous start in the tournament. Fnatic, who have undergone multiple roster changes over the last few weeks, and have just waved goodbye to Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang two days ago, still have plenty of time to recover and avoid an early elimination. The group stage will continue up until September 23 with the big grudge battle, Among Us vs Fnatic is scheduled for September 20.
