Vici Gaming are making the news in the Chinese media as they are likely to lose Zhang “Eurus/ Paparazi灬” Chengjun to the same Four Angry Men (4AM) organization, rumoured to have also acquired Xu “fy” Linsen and Lu “Somnus/Maybe” Yao from PSG.LGD.

While neither of the parts involved have made any official comments yet, Vici Gaming posted a job opening titled HR director for VG.

In the post description, Vici Gaming stated that the person has to be “fluent in Chinese and Thai” and “familiar with Dota 2 and its tournaments.”

VG’s job listening fueled the rumors according to which the organization has actually already signed Fnatic’s former carry player, Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon, who has been released from the team at the end of July.

23savage played in the Fnatic jersey starting with the 2019-2020 competitive season, and after a slow start and a couple of subpar results, when the professional scene had to adapt to an online regime, 23savage and Fnatic completely dominated the Southeast Asia tournaments. Last month he also became the second player to reach the incredible 11,000 MMR milestone.

Another piece of information circulating in the Chinese forums is that Eurus is not the only player to depart from Vici Gaming. The team captain, Zhou “Yang” Haiyang is also rumoured to join the 4AM all star starting line-up and while there are no confirmations for this roster movement either, Yang himself decided to make a pun on his Weibo account posting that he will be streaming some public matchmaking games tomorrow. Later on, in the comments he added: “if all goes smoothly, it should be 4 o’clock tomorrow.”
